Most other services are directories where advisers pay to be listed (and pay more to be listed higher). We're different - we look at what you've told us and find advisers who actually fit. Advisers can't pay us for better placement.
Yes, completely. The adviser pays us a flat referral fee, but only if you end up working with them. It doesn't change what you pay them, and it's the same across every adviser in our network - so we're not biased toward anyone. More on our pricing page.
Yes. Every adviser we work with is FCA authorised, either directly or as an appointed representative. We check that, plus their regulatory history, before they join us. You can double-check anyone on the FCA register.
Fee-only means the adviser is paid only by you - a flat fee, an hourly rate, or a percentage of what they manage for you - never by commissions from product providers. If fee-only matters to you, mention it on your discovery call and we can introduce you to advisers who work that way.
Three-ish minutes for the quiz. Your matches arrive by email shortly after. From there it's usually a few days to get a free one-hour discovery call booked.
A full hour with the adviser, free, no obligation. It's a chance for you to ask anything you want, see how they think, and decide whether you'd like to work together. Every adviser in our network offers this as standard - it's part of how we vet them.
Every adviser is personally interviewed by us before joining the network. We check FCA authorisation, regulatory history, qualifications, and fee transparency. We also want to understand how they actually work with clients - their approach, their philosophy, the kind of people they're best placed to help. Anyone with material adverse regulatory findings, opaque fee structures, or a "sales floor" mindset doesn't make it through.
Tell us, and we'll find you others. After every discovery call we check in to see how it went. If your match didn't fit, we'll send a different set of advisers. We only succeed when you do, so we'd rather get you to the right person on the second attempt than walk away from a bad first one.
